Raba: "We have to take away the positives"
The new signing reviews his Valencia CF debut
Dani Raba talked to VCF Media on the occasion of his LaLiga debut as a Valencia CF player, against Real Sociedad.
Tough opponents
We played against a great side. We did a lot of things well, but we conceded the equaliser very quickly after scoring. We have to be happy and take away the positives.
They have a lot of talent up front, with top-level players, and we'll have to analyse the move that led to their goal. We will work to improve, and make sure it doesn't happen again.
No excuses
The heat affects us both equally. It's true that there's a lot of heat and humidity now, which doesn't allow the players to give 100%, but we can't make excuses and have to keep working - and face the week with great enthusiasm.
His connection with Diego López
In training, we try to make those connections. Diego runs into space very well and is already getting to know me, and he knows that if he runs, I'll set him up for the chance. If we make connections often, there'll be a lot of joy.
Mestalla
As an away team, it's not as noticeable, but as a home team, the strength that Mestalla gives you, the drive you get for 90 minutes, with them cheering on the team, in moments of weakness, gives you that boost you need.
